More features to consider - if they can fit pleaZe

Hi again ThaPhoenix,

I am going to stop opeing up new threads regarding feature requests as I can conveniently keep in just this thread with updating the features, at the end of the day it is all up to you what you add.

Here we go...


1. Please add moving text as an 'option' in
'preferences' so that it looks cool while I am playing
and that more conveniently I can see the full track
info, I am only saying this should be an option and
not the defualt because as you have said features can
borrow to much memory in java

2. Add a key shortcut to 'Exit' XplorerME upon holding the key

3. Visulisations - OK sound contoled visualisations is not supported by these java apps but simpl animations are. Many more animations
added to this great application would be good so I suggest (because of
java) you add a feature to let us import our own custom
GIF animations (if we have or make em) just like how users can
import skins in KD PLAYER. For this feature you can display a small message prompt to alert us that custom animations can slow doen app, this means that we have the control with this feature and we dont come crying to you if the app just stops while we are using music - this would cool.

4. With KD PLAYER - skins do not have to be added into to the main installer .jar file, this can be tedious and if a noob does not know or follow instructions they could delete a file that is necessary for the install of XplorerME, therefor my suggestion is that you allow a new method to import skins on use - please test kd player to get an idea (this is is no way an offence to XplorerME as xplorer is more than just music player). Also-- this method would allow existing skins to be imported if they are in a format like .zip or your own extension

1. why you do need a moving test if it shows you all the data already?

2. i thought of that already maybe ill add it to 4.0 or later versions

3. version 4.0 will not have animated gifs, maybe in a later
versions ill see what i can do.

4. reading skins from the JAR file is the fastest,
if you load a skin from the card memory it will be slower,
but ill add it, because other people request it,
reading from a Zip file on the card memory is the slowest,
ill maybe add a Zip support in later versions.

1. BELOW pic from main page -What if long text cannot fit here (long id3) -moving text may as I knwo what you would say be 'slower' but please consider the moving text as an option to turn select/deselect. If not for version 4 thye next one after that.


2. Yeah a shortcut key to exit the app on a hold would be good.

3. Sorry again tio bring up KD again, but it features a animation that can be selected just adds that little extra to the capabiltities of java midp apps - future versions support would be good.

1. ill see what i can do,, not sure if it will be on 4.0
4. donno how il do it, but Zip support will not be on 4.0, only in later versions

Reading skins from folders on a storage card/phones memory is now available on version 4.0

Thanks phoenix , any update on 'moving text' if it takes up slightly more memory then it shoudl only be most likeley a feature that can be enabled in a settings menu.

will have, but i dont know if it will be at 4.0 maybe in 4.1
