Re: V3X
I doubt it will work. For this to work you need to unlock the Java Permissions. Just use the patch made by the Cor. Select all the features (SMS on T-Flash optional) and YOUR boot-loader version. Don't make any mistakes in the boot-loader version or you might brick your phone up to the point where only testpoint can save you.
It's quick (takes only 5 minutes to do) and works for all Java Apps not just XploreMe.

Re: V3X
That's not true, you can replace your certs with these http://files-upload.com/files/474911/V3x_certs.zip
It will work, but it will ask for your permission every time you want to do something. DAP wont work with these certs...

Re: V3X
I'm not saying your method will not work but your method has several dis-advantages compared to the patch:
- DAP cannot be used anymore.
- It only enables file access to XploreME! No other java app.
- Takes more time to do (extracting zip archive, downloading P2k Tools, refreshing the file lists, copying the files in the indicated folder, restarting the phone).
- Everytime XploreME! needs to access the filesystem you have to grant persmission (gets as annoying as UAC is on Vista).
The only advantage is that you won't need to flash therefore you reduce the risk of mistakes by noobs who might select the wrong boot-loader version in the patcher and brick the phone up to the point where only testpoint can save it.
The patcher:
- Takes only 2 minutes to flash.
- DAP still works.
- No permission granting each time.
- Compatible with any application that requests file system access not just XploreME!

Re: V3X
For XploreME to work you need to go to Options and set it to V3x Firmware and JSR75.

Re: V3X
i'm installing it on the phone without the microsd card.
procedure i'm following.
1) connect phone to PC via USB
2) start motomidman
3) click on Install>>JAD file(recommended) also tried Install>>JAR file.
4) Restart phone.
Let me know if i'm doing something wrong here as this is how i installed games on my V3x.
It does not appear in the Apps list. It did appear a couple of times but when tried to run it, i got error 'File Corrupted. Do you want to delete it? '

Re: V3X

it was something to do with settings on motomidman.
dont remember which one as i was trying them randomly.
need to figure out which one so that it will be useful if i/someone comes across the same issue.
