Expanding support with other phones

Im developing a new version of XploreME!,
a version that will support more filesystems besides the
one of the E1000.

if you have a motorola phone (not E1000)
please download this alpha version:

XploreME! v3.5 alpha1

and try run it on your moto,
when running XploreME, go to the Options Menu and select the JSR file system.
see if you can access files, etc.

be sure your open premmisions for this app.

please report here (on this thread) on any problem you find, or if you manage to run it.


for V3X phones:
for now, the way to run XploreME is this:
copy this file:
http://www.mytempdir.com/1316248
to: a/mobile/certs/root/x509/kjava/
(backup the old file)
reset the phone,
install XploreME as you install any app/game...

in XploreME options menu, make sure that
R26 Firmware, and JSR filesystem is marked.

I tried on my v3x, 1st time i tried it said the file was corrupted, then i deleted and tried to instal again, after that, when it was instaled the icon didnt appeared on Application menu... then i tried to instal on transflash, it worked there, touh it says i dont have permissions. On Motomidman i cant change anything in Access.. tell me what im doing wrong

ok, is now on my telephone memory but still with the same problem:
"cannot access file system, make sure XploreME! has the right java premmisions, and the right file system is selected from the Options menu."

ok, sorry the triple post forgot my 2nd post couse i was using XploreME from transflash and i touhg it was from telephone memory, when i try to instal to telephone memory it says that the file is corrupted, when i instal to transflash, it runs but says i have no permissions.

have you change the file system from "MotoE1000" to "JSR" in the options menu?

how to open premissions?

Im sorry but i dont know how to open premissions on V3x
i have E1000, and with E1000 you open premissions using MotoMidMan.
but i do know it is somehow possible, thatz why ive released this
alpha version for you people to try make it work..
once you manage to open premissions the program should work.

Yes, i changed the the file system from "MotoE1000" to "JSR".
With the normal version (E1000 version) i "can" open permissions using right click on XploreME! on MotoMidMan .. but with this alpha version im not allowed to do anything with the "Access" thing..
U understand? if not tell me what u didnt understand

from what peoples are reporting you cannot open permissions
using MotoMidMan in V3x, istead,
you need to do something with the CRETS files, and use
86 firmware, when i have more information about it will port it here.

it works now but i got more problrms:
1:it asking me 56745697046 questions to open one damm song
2:the sound doesnt work :
edit: sound work on 7 and 9 keys XD
but the questions killing me X|

yeah its a known problem, we need to find a way to stop
those questions..... maybe someone will find a way to
overcome those questions....

The problem: when using this file in the CRETS
the java system instead of blocking file access from java
app, it ask you every time a program tries to access a file...
if some one have a solution for this i will glad to hear....
i dont have V3x so i cant check myself....

This version works @ RIZR Z3 with the new j2me_domain_registry.sm for the v3x!
But it only want to read a\.
Can i anywhere change it to read transflash?

XploreMe works on my v3x but my DAP got an application error' i can't open anymore is there any solution on this?
i want Xploreme and DAP work both on my java apps'

XploreME works on your V3x with asking question every minute???

i dont have V3x so i cant help you with that so much,
i think that if you remove the SM file, DAP will work again,
and sure you can share my app wherever you want, (with my credits...) )

yes the asking question is still there' but that is a minor problem' for me the important thing is the XploreMe is working on my v3x i feel that i have 2 phones now E1000 & v3X =) but i wish that you can solve this asking question things hopefully. my DAP now is working the thing that i did is upgrade my firmware uninstall the DAP then reinstall again' but theres also the asking question like in XploreMe' but it's ok at least their both 100% working now =) is ure player in XploreMe have visualization? just like in ure screenshots? thanks again dude' =) i will share this to motorola modding community.

the picture per song/folder?
or the ability to make customized skins?

Hey thapheonix , looking at the screen shots , i was amazed but couldn't get the same experience on my C975 due to the screen resolution .
The resolution of my phone is 176*220.

Can you please tweak your software for this resolution . there may be other phones also with the same resolution

i dont have a 176*220 device so i cant ajust it myself,
i added customized skin support so people with 176*220 can make a skin
that fit to 176*220
