I dunno but can't you use a java emulator to see is the version you've modyfing is right?
I can be beta-tester if it's be necessary

i can test, you only need to resize player and place a text & icons (in player mode) in a right place.
also you can just test it on E1000, because only one differience between E1000 and v980 - screen resolution.
and i can send u my version (adopted) of XploreME!, resized (but not correctly) to 176x220 (and it's working on my V980).

can you access your files via XploreME?

i can't use a emulator, because in the emulator
i cant emulate file access

version 0.3 works fine on Motorola V980
i have adapt (to 176x220) and upload XploreME! to mobile phone using MotoMidMan and this program have enable "full access" for applications
[skin and icons for mediaplayer i have resize manually]

on Razr v3i this version doesn't work

my upgraded PC doesn't works, so i have take old PC from my girlfriend (P3-533, 256mb + RivaTNT).
i send 176x220 version for V980.
need to be fixed - soft buttons, volume & SHUFFLE not in their places

ill do a custom skin support for the player, can you send me screenshots

from XploreME! in a 176*220 phone? (main menu,player,file listing)

man, just install 176x220 version on E1000 and u'll see what does it like (what a problem?) ! it works fine, just not at full screen...

ive installed your version, but i need to see
how the original XploreME looks on 176*220
in order to make it fit....

ok, i'll send you some photos to the end of this week (DAMN, i have new computer - athlon 64 x2, 2 gb, radeon 1950, 2x 250gb i'm happy )
